Dear dermatologist friends

When preparing this issue – the 7th since the creation of Surgical & Cosmetic Dermatology – we have been very pleased with how the Journal has progressed.

We began with 9 articles in 48 pages in Issue 1,and have gradually increased the Journal''''''''s contents to 15 articles in 96 pages in the current issue.This expansion,and the increase in new article submissions,means that we may be able to be indexed in the most important databases in the near future.

We would like to thank the Brazilian dermatologists who send us the fruits of their dedication,knowledge and creativity – especially those enthusiastic about Dermatologic Surgery and Cosmetic Dermatology,working in care services accredited by the Brazilian Society of Dermatology (Sociedade Brasileira de Dermatologia – SBD) or at private practices – for their support of our Journal.
